“Mississippi is the most conservative state in the country and Gregg Harper has the good people of this state convinced he is a real conservative. The very conservative organization, The Heritage Foundation, only gives Harper a conservative score of 61%. When I was in school that was considered a failing grade.” Robert J. Allen |
WHY WE NEED TO REPLACE HARPERA message from Robert J. Allen, candidate for U.S. Congress, Mississippi's 3rd
Congressional District: As is typical of what we are facing all across the country. We have had (for 4 years now) a congressional representative that represented the party and not the people. Gregg Harper voted for: - the continuing resolutions to maintain spending levels we cannot afford - to raise the debt ceiling - to authorize funds to implement Obamacare which he claims to be against - for the Defense Authorization act which allows US citizens to be detained indefinitely without due process or even being charged with a crime - to extend the Patriot Act He voted for the ‘Super Committee’ for the budget knowing that it would fund Planned Parenthood. The people in District 3 are strongly opposed to Federal funding for abortion. He did all of these in the face of widespread opposition from his MS-3 constituents. This kind of politics and legislative malfeasance has bought America to the verge of collapse. It must be stopped. Even the people in Congress admit that this is not sustainable, but they continue the policies that caused and perpetuate these very problems. The people of District 3 and of the State and the nation deserve better. They WILL Have better with Robert J. Allen God Bless America and the Great State of Mississippi Robert J.
